Today we talk with him about his most recent book “Ravenous” which has been receiving a lot of attention in the CrossFit Community. In this episode we discuss the work of Otto Warburh a Jewish scientist who was protected by the Third Reich to study the origins of cancer, a disease that had been posing an increased threat to Nazi Germany. Warburg’s research discovered how obesity, sugar, and metabolic disease correlated with the formation of certain types of cancer. After the fall of Nazi Germany, these theories had been overlooked, but are now being rediscovered again.
